I have to
- memorize the name of the dental instruments.
- remember the procedure of what to do before/after the dentist checks the patient
- React fast to what the dentist needs
-remember where I'm suppose to stand
etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
It was interesting :) That's for sure. I've met few nurses on my third day of work. Since they were all there ( Practically I have nothing to do, and I heard the fact that the dentist working on that day was super fussy) meh :P I ended up talking to them nurses who were actually my age (whoah)
One of the girls dropped out of school after form 3, I was dumbfounded actually. It just struck me the fact that I haven't really come across people who dropped out of school before.(And that I forgot that some people actually LEFT SCHOOL and didn't GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL) This just shows that the circle you mix actually influences your life a lot. I'm thankful to my circle of friends (like seriously)
The girl who dropped out of school told me she really couldn't study at all. Ummm.. okay . I get the fact that some people really aren't cut out for studying. But somehow the fact still bothers me a little. Anyways, it's her life. They were kind of shocked when I told them I wanted to be a dentist. lol. Mind you, I asked them whether they were working there because they wanted to be a dentist. I didn't ask them whether or not they dropped out of school. But it seems to me that they kind of despise or find the job boring. It's a really interesting career actually, You get to see all kinds of people and cases .
Unlike medicine which is like study-study-study-diagnose
Dentistry is study-diagnose-practical-study-diagnose-practical
There are lots of "toys" when it comes to dentistry. For someone who likes crafting, it really makes me excited :P My uncle is a more of a dental surgeon, He broug
ht me over to watch a dental surgery and hell I thought I was just watching from the side till he asked me to sit at his place and suck blood from the patients gum with a suction while the other dentist was drilling it. (EPIC SIA)
Do I think dentistry is the right occupation for me?
yep ._. I can actually see myself doing this in the future. But the thing is I'm freaking out about even getting the course at all. So the next goal in life is to ..
GET A DENTISTRY COURSE :3
Sometimes.. I'm too tired to even smile =/ |
In the future, I'm bound to change my dentist :)
